Funds raised from the Holiday Shopping Card support the American Cancer Society’s vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. ACS is improving the lives of people with cancer and their families as the only organization combating cancer through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
In 2022 alone, your local American Cancer Society raised just under $6 million through local events, individual giving, and corporate initiatives, but we are investing over $25.8 million back into the Houston community – over 4X what is being raised here locally.
