Meet Nycki

Nycki ventured to NYC as a young and upcoming stylist to hone her craft at top salons in New York as well as the film and TV industry. She trained with Wella, Goldwell, Vidal Sassoon, and Bumble and Bumble among many others. In 2009, her life-long dream of owning a salon became a reality and for the next 12 years, she was a fixture in the local community developing life-long relationships with clients. In 2021, she relocated to Houston and found her home with SOK. Nycki credits communication as the key and biggest priority when collaborating with clients to create colors and cuts that are tailored to their individual lifestyle. She loves all things color and providing seamless lived in looks created with a variety of techniques. With a strong background in hair cutting, Nycki specializes in working with all hair types and lengths. She is Bellami Extension Certified and prefers the natural beaded row method. When it comes to styling and event hair, she loves big, sexy, vintage, and boho-inspired looks with a modern twist. Nycki would love to meet you and collaborate on your look!
